New River Retreat
The New River Retreat is in the quiet Draper Valley nestled between the rolling hills of Virginia where one of the oldest rivers in the world flows. In fact, we're right on the river banks of the oldest river in North America and second only to the Nile. This pristine, unspoiled river is called the New River and is the premier river of its region traveling through three states as it collects the waters of a broad swath of the Southern Appalachians.
What better place for families, couples and sportsmen alike to come and experience the things one often has the rare opportunity to enjoy. One can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia while floating down the river seeing old row boats tied to trees or sitting by a crackling campfire under a blanket of stars while the soft illuminating light of the moon dances across the water. So place a "hold" on time and come, relax at the New River Retreat. It's here that you'll see the soothing beauty of nature at it's best.

We also encourage our guests to venture out from the New River Retreat to explore the beauty of Pulaski County by going site seeing, embarking on guided boat rides and fishing trips, and enjoying other forms of entertainment that are available a short distance from the New River Retreat.
We hope to hear from you soon:
